Read what one of our customers had to say about their new setup, which included one of our electric sit-stand desks for their home office days.

To give you a context, I live in a house, with my wife and our 3 children. Initially, one of the rooms was a playroom for the children but due to the prolonged coronavirus situation, I was forced to decondition this room and make it my work space.

A brand new office!

To give you a context, I live in a house, with my wife and our 3 children. Initially, one of the rooms was a playroom for the children but due to the prolonged coronavirus situation, I was forced to decondition this room and make it my work space.

With only a very small space at my disposal at the time of the decision (and not designed for long hours of teleworking), I decided to set up a complete environment, to allow me to continue my professional activities. Working in IT training and consultancy, I needed a place to put all my office equipment and to run my courses.

Thanks to a Geneva-based company called bBalanced (whom I thank for their excellent support during the start-up of this project), I was able to start setting up my new workspace. First of all, I started the project of setting up a main table (with height function and electric adjustment). A short video to introduce the product: YouTube video

As you can see, this allows you to work both sitting and standing (to avoid sedentariness). The company also offers various elements, such as Cable Management for your desk, but also USB-C docking stations, bags, stands for screens, etc...

As far as activities are concerned, I use software such as Microsoft Teams, Jitsi, etc. For the webcam part, I have a Logitech Brio 4K.

Let's reduce eye strain

To avoid eye strain, I added a BenQ light to my monitor, the ScreenBar:
